Source: Microsoft-Windows-WindowsUpdateClientĬomputer: I try to uninstall it but I can not : Microsoft security essentials can not be uninstalled from windows 2012 r2 standard with error code 0x8004FF04 It is very strange but MSE gets updated succesfully but crashes the whole server. Microsoft security essentials is on a domain controller with 5 operation master roles and it crashes every time when it updates and the server restarts unexpectedly.
